I have had the pleasure of watching these 2 crazy kids find each other, fall in love and now marry. It was my honor to be one of the photographers for their wedding.

Carol Smith-Guilliams Bridal Shoot

I've been DYING to post these forever, but since the wedding was tonight, I finally can!

My first bridal shoot was at the Capitol.

Me and "The Capitol" are no longer friends. The lighting is horrible, but I did learn lots of great lessons.

To poor Carol's expense :-(

But she still loves me and says I'm just too hard on myself.

Everyone...here is my beautiful and quirky bride!


I LOVE what they are doing with their shoes. They are both wearing these electric kicks with their wedding date embroidered on them.


This was the necklace Colton got her for Christmas one year.




Her eyes are mesmerizing!

Now THIS...this is Carol. The Carol we all know and love and are super excited to see walk down the aisle to the man she has loved for as long as I can remember...

My Best Friend's Wedding

Yes, it has taken me a month with these pics, but since I have such an emotional connection to all of this, I wound up keeping and editing more pictures than I ever have for one session.

AND they had to be just right. For our "Mrs. Kiss"!

Her son gave her away. This was the first time he saw her before the wedding in her bridal room. It was the most precious thing ever!

Chris chose to have all of the audience choose a flower when they walked in. Then, as she walked down the aisle she gathered her bouquet. And had an opportunity to love on and everyone who was there. (Note: She already had a "first look" with Mark so she could do this)







After the wedding they chose to stay up front and allow everyone to come and visit and love on them right there. It was beautiful!

Sweet Siblings

These sweet siblings are separated by a strange turn of events. A woman in our church adopted the boy out of the foster care system when he was born. The sister came along and is still with the birth mother. Thankfully, they are allowed to all stay in contact so these two sweet siblings can see each other every now and then.

Since Kim had them both this weekend, she asked if I would take their pics and I was honored.


They just laugh and laugh when they are together!
