BT's Senior Pictures

BT is one of the girls that I teach at church. Her mother had already scheduled a more professional photographer to take her pictures, but she was more portrait oriented. And since they love me so very much and wanted to let me get some experience, they let me tag along.

Since she was really trying for the typical portraits, I was working around her to grab my more life-type shots. She took some great shots that you can see here.

It was VERY hard to not just upload them all. But, here are just a few of my favorites. (You can click on them to make them bigger.)


I absolutely LOVE this photo. I have it without the writing too and love it just as much if not more!




I adore the coloring in this one.


They all really wanted a shot of her ring.


She is so beautiful already and this green grass just enhances her beauty.




I wanted to do this shot from the first moment I knew I was taking her pictures. It just makes such a statement in my book. Here is our proud senior who has been supported all these years by the 3 in the background. But right now, it's her moment to shine.


What would our senior year be without our BFF? And this is hers!

BT, I love you and I pray that your senior year is your year to shine! Shine for the Lord and grab ahold of what He has for you and follow him obediently. I love you

What Am I Doing Here?

What AM I doing here?

Am I finally getting to pursue an actual hobby that I enjoy?

Well, I can't say that too much because my Family Nights are really a hobby that I enjoy as well.

But this has been a lifelong hobby that I never just had the right tools for.

Until now.

Thanks to a wonderful birthday gift, I have dove (dived, diven...whatever) off head first into my initial baby steps of this photography thing.

Now...I know I'm not great. Never claimed to be. But I LOVE, L-O-V-E, LURVE trying my hand at this. If it works, it works. If it doesn't, I'll have some great shots of my kiddos.

That's That.

But, because I have done my first "photo shoot" (ok, that sounds weird) and I had to give rights to print the photos to the "client" (don't I sound all professional) I came up with a name.

Moments by Billie.

Because that is the kind of photography I aim to take. I want to capture moments.
